Since its launch, PSiteStatus has processed availability data for more than 2,928,000 websites. The system collects key technical indicators such as HTTP response codes, response time, total number of checks, uptime statistics, downtime events, and error responses.
This helps evaluate both the current status of a website and its long-term reliability.
The main goal of PSiteStatus is to provide users with a clear understanding of website availability. Instead of relying on assumptions, users can use actual response data to identify whether the issue is global or local.
Checks are performed on demand when a user submits a request. The system attempts to connect to the target website using different protocols and domain variations, including versions with and without “www”.
